Okay this is my last week of the month, and I tried to drink black coffee, different kinds and different strengths and I just couldn't do it. Luckily I decided to do a juicing detox this week and I feel like I don't even need coffee at all. One thing I have learned is it's okay not to succeed at everything, but at least try. I do have to say that I have reduced the amount of cream and sugar i use so that is a small victory.
Try small challenges to ensure you are on the road to healthy living.
This is an update to how my 30 days to black coffee is going. So I have to admit I broke down once and bought a Latte. Other than that I haven't cheated, but this week I find the most challenging as I have switched from Vanilla coffee creamer to straight Half & Half. Oh my goodness coffee is bitter! I find myself questioning if I can ACTUALLY drink black coffee. I will complete this challenge but my guess is that I may still have to have a little vanilla creamer at the end of all this, but I figure it will still be a success because I cut out 3 tablespoons and a half cup of creamer out of my diet. I let you know next week as it is my black coffee week.
Baby Steps to Change
I have decided to do be able to reduce the chemicals and sugar intake I consume daily by adapting to black coffee. This may be easy for some, but I was the girl that had 6 pumps of vanilla in my latte's and 3-4 tablespoons of sugar in regular coffee with cream.
I thought of my slogan "Baby Steps to Change" so I am in week two of my plan and adapting quite nicely. I still can't picture not have ANYTHING in my coffee but I still got many days a head to achieve my goal.
I encourage anyone that can relate to try it. I created a calendar so that I can refer to as my goals I set for each week.
Good Luck I will keep you posted at the end of March, I would love to hear from you if you tried this or are willing to in the future.
